A waste stream is an income stream that has not been claimed yet. This pillar treats it as one, moving women from informal, unpaid waste work into ownership of the enterprises that process it.

How we will measure it

USAW is pre-launch, so these indicators have no baseline yet. Baselines will be set during Phase 1 research and reported annually, disaggregated by sex and age.

  • Waste-to-value enterprises established and still trading at 12 months
